There is this nice little walk we make a few times a week, just before getting to bed. Within five minutes we are out of the built up area and among the trees. The street lighting along this path is very soft and in fact less then the photo suggests, but at least you can see where you are going. Stumbling around in total darkness is perhaps not the best way to prepare for a nice night’s sleep.
In order to capture this light, I brought a tripod and took a long shot. My wife suggested “support by proxy” and stayed home.
Setting up the camera, fiddling with a remote control and then sanding next to it for some thirty seconds made me look like a dork to a couple passing by behind me on their bikes, but who cares.
Perhaps it kept them out of their sleep, wondering what in hell some guy was doing with a camera on a deserted path.
